A versatile conductor, keyboard-player and baritone, who has been recognized as one of the pioneers of the early music movement in the Balkans, Predrag Gosta is the artistic director of New Trinity Baroque, a widely-acclaimed and recorded period-instrument orchestra; the founder and the artistic director of the Makris Symphony Orchestra, New Belgrade Opera, Belgrade Baroque Academy and the Belgrade Early Music Festival; as well as the music director and chief conductor of the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre in Atlanta, USA. He also served on the faculty of the Oxford College of Emory University in Atlanta and is currently doing doctoral research at the University of Oxford, with a focus on the late 18th-century opera in England.
