July 1, 2018 - In honor of Mrs. Margaret Makris' visit to Serbia, today the Makris Symphony Orchestra will present a gala concert, featuring music by Andreas Makris, Aleksandar Simic, Borodin, Tchaikovsky and Elgar. The orchestra is conducted by Maestro Predrag Gosta.

June 8, 2018 - The 13th edition of the Belgrade Early Music Festival, led by its Artistic Director Predrag Gosta, starts today and will feature total of 18 concerts in two cities - Belgrade and Novi Sad. For detailed information, please visit the Festival's web site.

May 20, 2018 - The Association of Musical Artists in Serbia has announced that Maestro Gosta is the recepient of the "Artist of the Year" Award for 2017. As the conductor and music director of opera "Orfeo" by Claudio Monteverdi, which has been premiered in November of 2017 and was nominated for (and won) the best musical event of the year award.

March 5, 2018 - Predrag Gosta starts today his 3-month long engagement with the Theater in Biel-Solothurn (Switzerland), as the music director for Mozart's opera "Mitridate, re di Ponto". The stage director is Francesco Bellotto from Italy.

January 15, 2018 - Monteverdi's "L'Orfeo" is in full preparation for its next performance in Belgrade on January 26. It will be followed by a concert of J.S. Bach's music on period instruments, scheduled for the Kolarac Concert Hall on January 28, and Novi Sad's Sinagogue on January 29. Tickets are on sale now!

January 4, 2018 - Happy New Year! Another traditional candlelight Christmas concert of Baroque Music at the Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade was sold-out full week before it happened on December 30th, and was a great success. Maestro Gosta promises that in 2018 there will be more candlelight concerts of baroque music. Tonight also another big premiere is happening: the video streaming premiere of Monteverdi's "L'Orfeo", recorded on Nov. 18, 2017, and which is available for free on OperaVision.

December 7, 2017 - This December Predrag Gosta conducts the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre's "Nutcracker" for the 11th year in row, with 8 scheduled performances. Following "The Nutcracker", Gosta will perform in Handel's "Messiah" as well as in the traditional annual Candlelight Christmas concert with New Trinity Baroque.

November 19, 2017 - Serbian premiere of "L'Orfeo" was opened last night in Belgrade with a great success. The auditiorium of the Madlenianum Theatre was filled to its capacity. The next performance in Belgrade is scheduled for January 26, 2018.

October 10, 2017 - After a successful season opening concert in Atlanta with New Trinity Baroque, Maestro Gosta is involved in the preparation of Monteverdi's masterpiece "L'Orfeo" for the New Belgrade Opera, which will be premiered on November 18 in Serbia (Madlenianum Theatre in Belgrade) and on November 30 in Bulgaria (Theatre in Stara Zagora)

August 25, 2017 - This Summer's festival engagements of Maestro Gosta included performances of the Monteverdi Vespers with Antiphonus Vocal Ensemble in Croatia, as well as Vespers by Croatian Vinko Jelic with the Choir of the Croatian Radio-Television.he also participated at the Dartington International Summer School in England.

June 4, 2017 - This year's Belgrade Early Music Festival will start on June 10 and last until June 25. It will include performances by such ensembles as Savaria Baroque Orchestra (Hungary), Croatian Baroque Ensemble (Croatia), New Trinity Baroque (USA), and soloists such as Florian Deuter, baroque violin (Germany), Evelyn Tubb, soprano (United Kingom), Michael Fields, lute (United Kingdom), and more...

May 1, 2017 - Yesterday's issue of Neue Zürcher Zeitung am Sonntag said the following about "Lucio Silla" performance in Switzerland: "Dirigent Predrag Gosta dirigiert Mozarts Frühwerk leichtfüssig und so klug ausgehorcht, dass man die Ohren gar nicht tief genug in den Orchestergraben hineinstecken kann. Das Sinfonie Orchester Biel Solothurn nimmt Gostas Ideen begeistert auf." (Christian Berzins, Neue Zürcher Zeitung am Sonntag, 30 April 2017)

April 9, 2017 - The premiere of "Lucio Silla" in Solothurn was a great success! And the first review is already out: "Mit diesem 'Lucio Silla' schuf das kleinste Stadttheater der Schweiz den Höhepunkt des Opernjahrs." (Michel Schaer, Die Stimme der Kritik, 09.04.2017)

February 26, 2017 - Today Maestro Gosta starts a three-month engagement for the Opera of Biel-Solothurn, Switzerland, working on a new production of Mozart's opera "Lucio Silla". The Stage Director is Daniel Pfluger, and the team of excellent singers includes Roger Padullés, Ljupka Rac, Inès Berlet, Gioia Crepaldi, Sylvie Humphries and Konstantin Nazlamov. February 4, 2017 - While the 9th Belgrade Baroque Academy starts just tomorrow, already the next concert of the Makris Symphony Orchestra has been announced for February 18 and 19, featuring briliant Evelyne BEREZOVSKY in Rachmaninov's 3rd Piano Concerto, as well as compositions by Kabalevsky, Khachaturian, Dvorak, Simic and Makris

January 23, 2017 - After a successfull run of baroque concerts, from February 5 to 11 Maestro Gosta will again join forces with fantastic Marijana Mijanovic, teaching at the 9th edition of the Belgrade Baroque Academy. Theme of this academy is Monteverdi's theatrical music, as an introduction to the forthcoming production of Monteverdi's "L'Orfeo", planned for this Summer

January 1, 2017 - HAPPY NEW YEAR! After a short holiday break, next concert in honor of the Orthodox Christmas and New Year will be presented by Predrag Gosta and New Trinity Baroque on January 15 (Novi Sad) and January 22 (Belgrade). Welcome!

December 15, 2016 - "The Nutcracker" is already going well at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center, while the tickets for the 10th anniversary of the Baroque Candlelight Christmas with New Trinity Baroque (December 18) are almost being sold-out. Hurry up and buy them at newtrinitybaroque.org

October 4, 2016 - After a successful concert in Atlanta, next projects that await Maestro Gosta include a concert of symphonic music with the Makris Symphony Orchestra in Belgrade, concerts at the BUNT Festival in November with New Trinity Baroque as well as the famous French cellist Marc Coppey, and the run of Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" (for the tenth year in row) for the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre in December. September 15, 2016 - The first concert of the 2016-17 New Trinity Baroque season in Atlanta is entitled "Musical Exultation" and will be presented on October 1st. It will include compositions by Vivaldi, Handel, Bach, Platti and Mozart, including the exciting "Exsultate, jubilate", with soprano Erica Schuller, in honor of Mozart's double anniversary!

August 31, 2016 - The NEW CD with the London Symphony Orchestra is finally out! Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" (in Ravel's orchestration) and Rachmaninov's famous last work "Symphonic Dances". July 10, 2016 - This month Maestro Gosta will perform with the Choir of the Croatian Radio-Television at the Osor Musical Evenings festival in Croatia, followed by the participation at the Austria Baroque Academy in Kremsmünster, Austria.

May 15, 2016 - Belgrade Baroque Academy will be held from May 30 to June 6, followed by the 11th International Belgrade Early Music Festival. Maestro Gosta will teach at the Academy, as well as perform at several concerts during the Festival, of which he is the Artistic Director.

March 3, 2016 - The forthcoming concert of the Makris Symphony Orchestra in Belgrade, conducted by Predrag Gosta, will feature Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" as well as the music from movies "The Mission", "The Schindler's List", and "Gladiator", as well as Andreas Makris' most famous work, "Aegean Festival Overture".

February 5, 2016 - Next CD of Maestro Gosta, conducting the famous London Symphony Orchestra, features the music by Mussorgsky and Rachmaninov - "Pictures at an Exhibition" (orchestrated by M. Ravel) and Rachmaninov's "Symphonic Dances". Coming in a few months...

January 30, 2016 - Today and tomorrow the Makris Symphony Orchestra performs in Belgrade and Novi Sad, celebrating the 260th birthday of great W.A. Mozart as well as the 1st anniversary since the foundation of the orchestra. The soloists are pianist Natasa Veljkovic and violinist Milica Zulus. For more information, check the calendar page.

January 10, 2016 - Next week Maestro Gosta will perform in Belgrade and Novi Sad (Serbia) with the Ensemble of the Studio for Ealry Music and the organist Ivan Bozicevic in a concert of music by J.S. Bach and Handel - entitled "Sacred Concerti and Cantatas"

January 1, 2016 - MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR! Predrag Gosta looks forward to the 2016 engagement, which will amonth others include a Baroque music concert on January 16 and 17 with Ivan Bozicevic (organ) and the 260th Birthday Celebration with Natasa Veljkovic (piano), Milica Zulus (violin) and the Makris Symphony Orchestra on January 30 and 31.

December 15, 2015 - At the end of the month and in early January, Maestro Gosta will conduct the Vojvodina Chamber Orchestra and the Zrenjanin Philharmonic Orchestra in Serbia, featuring artists such as tenor Bela Mavrak.

December 5, 2015 - For the 10th year in row Predrag Gosta will conduct Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" with the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre from December 11 to 20, 2015.

November 11, 2015 - The newest CD of Maestro Gosta, with the London Symphony Orchestra, has been finally released. Featuring amazing music of Andreas Makris, this CD is available on sale via all quality online and CD stores.

October 1, 2015 - Maestro Gosta starts this month with the rehearsals for the new production of Handel's opera "Orlando" in Belgrade's MADLENIANUM Theatre. The premiere is scheduled for October 30th.

September 11, 2015 - The newest CD of Maestro Gosta, with the London Symphony Orchestra, has been finally released. Featuring amazing music of Andreas Makris,this CD is available on sale on web retailers such asAmazon.com or iTunes, as well as in any good music store.

June 19, 2015 - New Trinity Baroque performs Buxtehude's amazing "Membra Jesu Nostri" at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Belgrade. This amazing set of cantatas will be also performed in September at the Korkyra Baroque Festival (Sep. 9) and in Zagreb, Krizevci and Varazdin at the 45th Varazdin Baroque Evenings.

May 31, 2015 - Next month Gosta will once again coordinate a week of great music, in the 10th jubilee edition of the Belgrade Early Music Festival.

March 7, 2015 - Celebrating Andreas Makris' 85th birth anniversary with three performances in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Zrenjanin of Mozart's REQUIEM, together with the works of Makris, Elgar and Holst.

February 3, 2015 - The exact 10th anniversary of Andreas Makris' passing.

January 31, 2015 - Today marks the beginning of a new era. Gosta conducted the first concert of a newly founded MAKRIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA in Belgrade, Serbia.

January 5, 2015 - As we are entering the year of 2015, are also celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Makris Foundation and the 85th birthdays of Andreas and Margartet Makris. This year also commemorates 10 years since Andreas Makris' passing, which will be marked with the publication of a new CD with the London Symphony Orchestra - coming soon!

November 22, 2014 - During the month of December, Maestro Gosta will be conducting the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre's 10th consecutive year of "The Nutcracker" with a live orchestra. Celebrating his 80th performance during this run, Maestro Gosta very much looks forward to the ballet, followed by a traditional candlelight Christmas concert with New Trinity Baroque, and the apperance at the baroque New Year concert in Belgrade.

June 1, 2014 - The 9th International Belgrade Early Music Festival, with Maestro Gosta at its helm as its artistic director, will be held this year from June 14 to 23, with the central activity being the performance of Claudio Monteverdi's masterpiece "The Coronation of Poppea". Featuring international cast of talented musicians, including Jana Jovanovic in the role of Poppea, Janja Vuletic as Nerone, and Carlo Vistoli as Ottone, this performance is the first time ever that one Monteverdi's opera is being performed in Serbian capital.

March 1, 2014 - On March 5th and 6th, Maestro Gosta will be listening to the auditions for the new production of Monteverdi's opera "L'Incoronazione di Poppea" (The Coronation of Poppea), which he will conduct in June of this year during the 9th International Early Music Festival in Belgrade, Serbia.

November 10, 2013 - The 10th International Harpsichord Festival in Belgrade will be held from November 13th to 18th, with the final concert on November 18th at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade being given to Maestro Gosta and the members of the Belgrade Baroque Academy. Entitled "Monteverdi and Venetian Baroque Extravaganza", the program will feature expanded program from the Third Baroque Academy held in October, featuring young talented vocal and instrumental musicians. June 20, 2013 - Yesterday's opera performance of "Dido and Aeneas" at the Belgrade National Theatre and Early Music Festival was a complete success - with the capacity-full house and raving reviews! Congratulations to all participants, the staff and the directors

May 29, 2013 - Gosta is currently in Bulgaria, where tomorrow he will be conducting "The Magic Flute" at the State Opera in Burgas, followed by "Carmen" few days later. After Bulgaria, Gosta travels to his native Belgrade, Serbia, where on June 9th starts the 2nd International Belgrade Baroque Academy, and on June 15 starts the 8th Belgrade Early Music Festival. During the Festival, on June 19th precisely, Gosta will conduct the vocal and instrumental ensembles in the first ever period instrument performance of an baroque opera at the Belgrade National Theatre - Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas"

May 13, 2013 - Yesterday Predrag presented Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" with the Lüneburg Symphony Orchestra at the Ritter-Akademie, next to the Michaels-Church, the place where great J.S. Bach got his first employment. Just one week before Germany, Gosta was still in Bulgaria, conducting the premiere of Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" at the Ruse State Opera

April 25, 2013 - Tonight is the concert with the Sofia Philharmonic in Bulgaria. Program: Makris' "Trilogy", Kirov's "Concertino" and Rachaminov's Symphonic Dances

April 9, 2013 - New week, Gosta teaches at the Belgrade Baroque Academy, together with the famous internationaly known baroque contralto Marijana Mijanovic. Program will include works by Purcell, Bach and Monteverdi, with the final concert scheduled for April 19, after which Maestro Gosta will travel to Sofia.

May 15, 2013 - Last week's performance of "Four Seasons" with New Trinity Baroque was incredible, with standing ovations lasting for over 10 minutes. Predrag Gosta looks forward to the appearance with the Lüneburg Symphony Orchestra in May, with the same program.

February 7, 2013 - Maestro Gosta has been recently invited to conduct the Sofia Philharmonic for the second time within the past year on April 25 at the "Bulgaria" Concert Hall in the center of Bulgarian capital

January 21, 2013 - Predrag Gosta will conduct "Madama Butterfly" at the Belgrade National Theatre on Saturday, February 9th. This will be the first show after the renovation following a two-month break that was caused by the fire that damaged the main stage in December 2012

December 16, 2012 - Today, Predrag Gosta and Atlanta's New Trinity Baroque will present its annual "Baroque Candlelight Christmas", featuring the music of the French Baroque, including Charpentier's "Messe de minuit" and Ballet Suites by J.B. Lully and J.C.F. Fischer.

December 1, 2012 - Maestro Gosta will conduct the 50th production of "The Nutcracker" show with the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at 2:30 pm, at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Atlanta. November 19, 2012 - New Trinity Baroque and Predrag Gosta successfully presented the second concert of its 2012/13 season in Atlanta on November 17th, featuring baroque trumpet player Amanda Pepping (for more information about New Trinity Baroque visit www.newtrinitybaroque.org)

October 31, 2012 - Gosta debuts with the London Symphony Orchestra: Today Predrag Gosta starts a 4-day-long project with the London Symphony Orchestra, which includes recording of the works by Rachmaninoff, Mussorgsky and Andreas Makris at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios. Gosta is the first conductor from the former Yugoslavia to have the privilege and honor to conduct this prestigeous orchestra.

September 8, 2012 - 14th Season with New Trinity Baroque starts today. New Trinity Baroque is Atlanta's leading period instrument orchestra, founded by Maestro Gosta in London in 1998.

July 14, 2012 - Gosta debuts in Sofia Maestro Gosta debited a few days ago in Sofia, Bulgaria, when he appeared as a guest conductor with the Sofia Philharmonic. The concert, featuring works by Beethoven and Makris, was the final concert of the Sofia Philharmonic's 2011/12 Season!

April 24, 2012 - Concert in Belgrade on April 30 Predrag Gosta will conduct a concert in Belgrade on April 30th, with the Chamber Orchestra "Pro Classica." The concert will feature works by Grieg, Holst, Bozicevic and Makris. Among these, work "Cascades Classiques" by Ivan Bozicevic and Five Miniatures for Strings by Andreas Makris will be European / Balkan premieres.

March 20, 2012 - Opera and concert performances in Bulgaria and Serbia Maestro Gosta is traveling to Burgas, Bulgaria, where he will conduct Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro" and Verdi's "Un ballo in maschera" at the Bulgarian State Opera on April 4 and April 9. This will be followed by a concert in Belgrade, Serbia, where he will conduct Chamber Orchestra "Pro Classica" at the Great Hall of the Student Cultural Center, on April 30.

January 17, 2012 - Predrag Gosta conducts the Federal Philharmonic Orchestra of the Caucus Mineral Waters (South Russia) on January 20 and 21, in Essentuki and Kislovodsk. The program will feature Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 with Mikhail Lidsky as the soloist, as well as additional works by Rachmaninoff, Glinka and Makris.

December 27, 2011 - Maestro Gosta will travel next week to Russia, where he will conduct the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra on January 9th (featuring Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 as the central piece), the Kislovodsk Philharmonic Orchestra on January 20 & 21 (featuring Rachmaninoff's Piano concerto No. 3), as well as the Russian State Ballet of St. Petersburg on February 11th (featuring Tchaikovsky's masterpiece "The Nutcracker" in original Kirov/Mariinsky Theatre's choreography).

October 5, 2011 - At the end of this month, Maestro Gosta is traveling to Bulgaria where he will conduct Bulgarian State Philharmonic Orchestra in a program of music by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Glinka, Prokofiev and Andreas Makris
